The Mother's Union is a world wide Christian organisation within the Anglican Church. Its purpose is to be specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves Christian family life, and to help those whose family life has met with adversity.
Anyone can become a member, married, single or divorced, male or female.

Runs a hostess scheme for those visiting relatives in hospital who live out of the area.

Has "Away from it all" holidays in its caravan at Primrose Valley, Filey.

Knits for the premature baby unit.

Gives cards of welcome to the newly baptised in our church.

Prays for and gives cards to those who get married in our church.

Operates an indoor members prayer circle for the housebound.

Supports the work of the Church in the Third World.
Meetings take place on the last Monday of each
month:
January, February, March: at 14:15
April to December: at 19:30
No meeting in August.
